Let’s dive into each functionality a little bit more.
To Access the menu, the user dials *483*255# from his Kabambe. A menu popup will appear allowing you to select what you would like to see.
1. VIEW PROPERTY BALANCES.
This menu allows you to see the properties balances and the total rent collected at a glance. We will come back to this a little later.
2. VIEW RENT COLLECTED.
This menu gives a detailed yet simplified overview on all the important information on:
- Total billed amount
- Total rent collected for that month
- Percentage collected for the month
- Property Balances
3. VIEW OCCUPANCY.
You have real time overview on how many tenants are in your rental property at any given time. Here you can view total units, tenants and the percentage occupancy.
4. VIEW ARREARS & PENDING BALANCES
Keeping track of Arrears and balances is one of the most crucial information to have as a landlord. Knowing which tenants have paid and the one with balances is as easy as ABC. Whats more, you have a simplified overview of this list with the tenant names, unit they occupy and the amount in arrears.
The USSD menu will also allow your Tenants to:
- PAY RENT anytime, anywhere and at their convenience
- VIEW RENT BALANCE AND UNPAID INVOICE
- ISSUE VACATE NOTICE
